Meet our Pastor

Pastor Nathan Satchwill

Nathan and Cassie met at Pensacola Christian College where he was studying Music Ministry and she was majoring in English. They got married in 2006.

Nathan completed his bachelor’s degree at Indiana Baptist College while working for Good News Ministries, an inner city ministry in Indianapolis, IN.

Nathan was the assistant director of the youth center at Good News Ministries.  He was able to teach and preach God’s Word, run bus routes, and organize activities for urban children in Indianapolis. Cassie did office work at the mission’s free health clinic.

The Satchwills’ next ministry was in Prince Frederick, Maryland at First Baptist Church of Calvert County. Nathan was assistant to the pastor and led the music ministry, teen ministry, and children’s church. Cassie taught a Sunday school class, organized VBS, and helped lead the Ladies’ Fellowship. After approximately five years, Nathan knew that the Lord was giving him a burden to be a pastor.

Soon thereafter, Nathan’s brother Aaron shared with him a vision to start two new churches in northern Minnesota—one in Roseau, and one in Thief River Falls.  The Satchwills moved to Minnesota in summer of 2014 to partner with him.  Nathan works at Digi-Key and Cassie is a stay-at-home mom to their four children—Caleb, Leah, Noah and Lilian.
